Visit this website which has 10 things you can do to help the environment.  Out of the list of 10, pick 1 to make a One-Pager.  Click here to see images of One-Pagers (to refresh your memory, of course).  Remember, a One-Pager is a complete page of text, colored images, charts, graphs, and anything else anyone would need to become an expert on the one your selecting.  Use your One-Pager to encourage others to take up your goal of making the world a better place.

1. CLICK THIS LINK to view the paper for this week's homework.  Draw a picture that shows which Theory you believe.  If you believe theory 1, you'll draw a picture showing the dinosaurs being wiped out by an asteroid... if you believe theory 2, you'll draw and color a picture showing the dinosaurs being wiped out by volcanic eruptions!  Pick either one, then draw and color your picture on a sheet of white printer paper.  Easy assignment, and fun! Due Friday!

1. CLICK THIS LINK to view the textbook pages for this weeks homework.  CLICK THIS LINK to print out the Cornell Note Paper you'll need to complete your assignment.  Take notes on the following headings found on the left hand side of the reading: The DNA Molecule, Base Pairs, and What is DNA Replication.  You'll need to complete the Cornell Note Paper with the Essential Question - you create your own focus question.  On the left side of the Cornell Note Paper, write two level two questions, then complete the summary at the bottom.  The whole assignment should take you 30 minutes to complete.

Be ready to discuss on Friday which type of movement occurred in our 5-day Egg Cell Membrane Lab.

1. CLICK THIS LINK to view the reading paper for this week's homework assignment.  This week, you'll need to make a "foldable" that compares and contrasts the prokaryotic cell and the eukaryotic cell.  We did an example of a foldable in our interactive science notebook on pages 12 and 14.  Just in case, here are some examples you can look at to give you some ideas - CLICK HERE.  Make sure it can fit on a page in your interactive notebook - besides that, let your creativity flow!!

CLICK THIS LINK to view the reading paper for this week's homework assignment.  This week, you'll need to make a "One Pager".  A One Pager is a poster that takes all the information from a source and puts it all together on one page - like a big, summary type of poster.  CLICK HERE to see some examples of One Pagers that have been uploaded in Google Images.  Please use a regular sheet of white paper - with no lines on it.  If you need some white printer paper, please come and see me and I'll be happy to give you some!!

Use the textbook link above to fill out this Wordbank Paper - CLICK HERE.  You will only need to print out this one sheet and write the five words found in the blue section on the textbook pages.  Find the words on the right side and write the word, definition, and draw & color a picture representing the word.
